PERSONALITY: Appears somewhat cool and calculating, critical of arguments and others' faults for going against her code of honor. Tends to observe others for any faults or weaknesses she could take advantage of, especially in fights which she would rather avoid, but sometimes necessary. She comes off as the detached type, unlikely to be associated with others. Certain types of people, she cannot get along with, but since meeting up with her old friends again after high school, she makes an effort to get to know people. Despite her 'freaky' or 'punk' appearance, she gives off a motherly aura and fairly easy to approach for assistance. Although people have tried to take advantage of this from her, she is also quick to strike back if she catches anyone trying to walk over her or her friends. She has a pseudo-chivalric code of honor, protecting those in need especially her close friends, and dislikes attacking those incapable of defending themselves. Her usage of martial arts is related to this mindset in which she needed a way to reach her goals without resorting to any 'cheap' tactics, such as weapons, ambushes, or gang-ups. Although once a one on one fight is on, she things its fair for anything goes during that fight. She has taught this ideal to her friends, and also dislikes to fight without a purpose. She isn't one to back down from a challenge, accepting them if she sees some kind of benefit from doing so. She generally doesn't hold grudges for long unless her pride or friends have been hurt. Retaliation goes as far as an eye for an eye and nothing much more. She tries to avoid the group of delinquents she stayed around with during Jr high and high school, but if problems arise, she's willing to fight her way out of the ties she put herself into. BACKGROUND: Born in the Odaiba district of Tokyo and through her early years, both parents were normally home, though there was many times in her childhood that her father wasn't around because of the tours he would go on with his band, or just a trip away from home when he needed time alone. Reiko grew up with an overabundance of support and love from her mother, but there was that small void in her life where she wanted her father to be. Reiko's elementary days were mostly spent alone while in school. She didn't have too many friends besides those introduced by her parents, close family friends. She learned traditional Japanese ceremonies, such as tea, flowers, and etiquitte. Her mother continued to provide her with all she needed, but she continued to become detached from her friends because of her quietness. The few times she did see her father during this time, he took her on his trips to see the sunset at beaches and other sparsely populated locations. Her father also taught Reiko how to play instruments such as the guitar and harmonica. She was happy being with her father on these short visits but she still wanted him to be at home, to be there with her and her mother. Reiko continued to be very antisocial while growing up, although she became friends with two girls living in her apartment complex named Aiko and Nozomi. They were always together, even though the three had nothing in common, as Aiko was involved heavily in sports, while Nozomi was quite the intellectual one, studying a grade ahead of everyone else on her own. They were inseperable during this time, practically doing everything together. Reiko went on to Odaiba Jr High along with the two other girls. During her stay in Jr High, she browsed through the school's big list of clubs, trying out a few by attending open practice sessions if they appealed to her. She didn't find a place for herself in the clubs too much, rather choosing to be part of the 'Homebound club' after school. She continued to be rather anti-social, starting to hang out with the upperclassmen punks who caused trouble in the school, only because she looked like one of them and fit in quite well. Nozomi tried to pursuade her to leave the group, but Reiko reassured her that she wasn't doing anything bad, Which was true since she was attending class regularly and her grades were quite high. She spent most of her time while around the punks reading the magazines they had, such as martial arts and wrestling mags, along with the occasional ricerocket article. She wanted to make them stop fighting, but that would have been a bad idea, knowing she was greatly outnumbered. After a while, she phased herself out of that group, going back to her old friends, Nozomi and Aiko and tried to start anew from there. Reiko went on to graduate jr High, enrolling into Taiyo High in Southtown. During this time, she started to lose touch with her old friends and drifted back to the delinquent gang groups that hung around town. Her style of clothing made her fit in, but her personality didn't. She would just stay around these kids just because she could, It was a chance to be with people, yet be left alone. Reiko would continue go to school, and not generally do things the punks would do, such as steal, smoke, or drink which finally made the delinquents snap, starting to try and force her to do things that she has been declining to do. Though luckily the first time was the last time as Aiko and Nozomi passed by the incident and came to Reiko's help. Again, she was helped by her friends, but this time it was needed. Reiko started to realize that friendship shouldn't be taken for granted, and no matter who they are, they will be the best people you know. Afterwards, the three girls talk about the past year as they all have went to diffrent High schools in the Tokyo area. Aiko with her scholarship to a school specializing in sports, Nozomi went to a college prep school, and Reiko to her local public high school. Reiko once again started socilizing with her old friends, seeing what Aiko and Nozomi meant when they mentioned friendship is forever. Reiko's grades in High school started to improve and so did her social life, Her quiet demeanor didn't change much in public, but she started to be more talkative again with those friends she trusts. Her clothing styles also remained the same, making a statement when walking around places like Shibuya and Ikebukuro districts of Tokyo. Reiko's mutant abilities manifested during one afternoon after school, she was travelling through the city when she heard noises of a scuffle in a nearby alleyway. She went there to intervene like she has always been doing to earn her nickname of a knight. Once she got there, it wasn't a normal high school kid fight like she was expecting, but a yakuza gang an a member who betrayed their group. She stood her ground, when they noticed her standing in the alleyway, telling her to forget what she's seen. One of them approached her intending to force her out of the dark corner when suddenly bright flashes of light streaked out at them, creating a small explosion when they hit. This stunned the assailants and allowed Reiko and the injured man to escape. They parted ways and promised each other not to talk about this to anyone. Reiko kept her promise and never mentioned the incident, but her curiosity about what happened always stuck with her. She experimented with different ways to try and manifest it again, but ended up in failure until one day the streaks of light appeared, but instead of exploding in a flash like the first time, a manifestation of a battleship loomed behind her and she ended up blowing a hole in the wall of her room. Reiko was a little scared by this point and ran out of the house, to try and hide.... But by chance, this was witnessed by one of Professor X's X-corp agents who managed to get a hold of her before any authorities arrived. They came to an agreement over what they would do after Reiko understood what was going on. She did have a fear of what she did, but she was very calm when she was told about what happened, the possibility of being a mutant, and there was a place where she could find help and stay safe. A late night talk with the Agent and her parents went on, taking the suggestion about having Reiko moving to the Xavier Academy to finish her schooling as well as to learn about herself. Ability: Energy cannon Desciption: Fires a set of up to 6 energy 'shells' in front of her. Manifests a ghostly battleship behind her, the shells fire out of the main turrets of the ship. Effect level goes from light only (flares) to hard hitting concussion blasts. Range and aiming is limited by line of sight, firing direction is limited by the arc of the turrets on the battleship. Though since they are energy, gravity does not affect the natural flight of the shells, but can be controlled (mentally) to arc like normal cannon shells when fired. Very loud, sound levels are on par with an actual cannon being fired, scaled down for it's size difference. Power level- 4 Control Level- 6 Ability: Energy Cannon II Desciption: Fires a narrow blast of rapid firing energy 'bullets' in any direction. Manifests as a ghostly fighter plane, bullets fire out of the wing guns of the Mustang looking propeller plane. Effect level generally cannot be controlled, constant energy output. Range is short, about 10 yards from point of origin, aiming limited by line of sight. The 'plane' doesn't obey the rules of physics, but just a manifestation of the originating point of her powers when used. Power level- Control Level- Ability: Energy Cannon III Desciption: Fires an exploding bomb like blast of energy. Manifests as a ghostly Stuka dive bomber, which drops a 'bomb' that explodes in energy. Aiming is limited by line of sight, but it is an aimed ability and not freefall like an actual bomb. Neither the plane nor the bomb obey the rules of physics as they are just manifestations of power when the abilities are used. Power level- Control Level- WEAKNESSES Major- Minor- Pseudo code of chivalry. MUTANT TELLS/SIDE EFFECTS: None physical. Mutant factor detectable. -SKILLS: (Feeble, Poor, Mediocre, So-So, Average, Good, Very Good, Excellent, Incredible, Amazing) Homemaking - Good Electric Guitar - Excellent Martial Arts - Very Good ITEMS OF NOTE: None GOALS:
