Commander's stripes on her uniform, being in command of the 158th Air Mage division which is attached to Division 6 as a mobile air reserve on paper, but acts as a second division and strategic reserve of air mages to act when necessary. She also wears a chain around her neck with a small light blue crystal on the end which is the idle form of her intelligent device . In her barrier jacket mode, she wears a navy blue unitard with black and gold highlights, and a black jacket with gold highlights on top. PERSONALITY: Her general demeanor is friendly, polite, and supportive of others, with an air of calmness to her, but once in the joking mood she takes it very seriously. She also has a habit of groping others who she is close to, calling it a way to increase one's closeness with another, but sometimes people only see it as a form of sexual harassment, though it never has gone in the bad direction as she only does it to those who are willing. Has a sense of loyalty to those she is close to, to the point where she can give her life for them, though her duties as a commander likely limit this. BACKGROUND: Born on Midchilda, after her parents settled down in a quiet area in the suburbs of the capital. Her father, Griffith, continued work as the Executive commander of Division 6 and Hayate as the Commanding Officer of the whole Division with its attached branches. Although she took time off around the time Hikari was born, she was back in command after a short time off with Arf taking care of the child. Her desk job at the time made it quite easy to juggle the two jobs but without a small price of the lack of sleep.. Being the daughter of a SS rank mage, Yagami Hayate, Hikari was regarded highly for her possible magical potential from her early childhood. Hayate didn't push her into joining the TSAB or even taking the exams for entrr to magic school, but her status within the TSAB pretty much guranteed a screening and tryout at the TSAB Academy when she was old enough. Tests on her Linker Core had shown Hikari had potential and pushed by the examiners to take an entrance exam at the Academy. Having split her time between Midchilda and Earth while growing up, she learned a lot about her mother's land and heritage while living in Japan with close family friends. They were open about what they would do when they finally entered the academy and she chose that she would go on with a style of magic close to the Ace of Aces, Takamachi Nanoha when she finally entered. The Academy entrance exams for Hikari went smoothly on the written part and magic ability, also including the combat part. She has spent time from ages 13 - 15 at the academy with basic training as well as advanced Midchilda Magic training with the staff as her chosen weapon and device, taking after her mother, she has developed a strong magical presence, although she lacks the variety of attacks that her mother or Nanoha holds. Hikari also passed the OCS entrance exam as well as the 1st class officers' exam, which put her on the fast track up the ranks which in her words doesn't really hold much merit compared to experience that is gained by working up the ranks. She currently holds the rank of Lt Commander. Assigned to the Mars sector of 3124 in 97th Unmanaged world with Elzam Granscenic, she arrives on the Imaginos station as the second TSAB presence in the area.
